The KWPN Top Five results have just been announced, and we are delighted to announce that Bella Luna has placed 3rd overall in the Iron Spring Farm Cup for Young Jumpers. The KWPN Iron Spring Farm Cup for Young Jumpers is sponsored by Iron Spring Farm and is in part patterned after the Ian Trophy classes for young horses in Holland. Horses are evaluated on gaits, reflexes, technique, scope, attitude, ride-ability and willingness. The class is open to both jumper and hunter horses.
Bella Luna, a 2006 KWPN mare sired by Ikoon out of the Wolfgang mare Uganda M, had a very successful keuring at Prima Equestrian in September, where she was entered into the studbook. Bella has been designated by the KWPN as a Hunter type (HP), due to her excellent technique and aptitude under saddle and over fences.
